I made it to 50,000 words in 29 days! I feel proud of myself and am happy that I discovered NaNoWrimo and had decided to participate for the first time last year. It’s so cool to have exceeded the required word count twice in a row, and I look forward to participating again next year.
Congratulations to everyone who participated. Even if you don’t reach 50,000 by the end of today (Nov. 30th) it’s still a great thing that you’ve started a story. Writing is a challenge just as much as it is a passion, and I’m appreciative of NaNoWrimo for challenging me to write more.
