2014 was quite a year for me as I’m sure it was quite the year for others. If I had to sum up the year in one word, it would be “bittersweet” because two major things happened: I married my best friend and soul mate, and I lost someone I loved dearly. That lost has impacted me so much that I’m having a hard time writing and sadly, whenever I catch myself smiling, guilt creeps up on me because I’m instantly reminded that she is no longer here and I won’t see her when I go home. But this wasn’t meant to be a sad post and I’m not throwing a pity party. In fact, I’m hopeful. My faith will carry me through and I know that very soon, I will be alright.
I also want to thank you, my supporters, and I want to wish each and everyone of you a prosperous new year. I hope you achieve your resolutions and always remember to appreciate what you have.
Happy New Year!
